Eddie attended the School of Visual Arts in New York and graduated from the California College of Arts BFA in photography/interdisciplina...

This piece is a continuation of a body of work by Eddie called "atavisms" which deals with survival, strength, and adaptability.

All of the pieces in this series are portraits designed to engage the viewer in a very direct way and to reflect upon inner strength.

The text "No More Prayers to Say" is about wishing away certain inevitabilities. It is about crossing the threshold from a period of danger to a period of consequence.
